MDA drivers - a rescue team were called to Herzl Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of a work accident.

Rescue Team volunteers Yosef Chaim Hauzi and Moishe Bruin add: "When we arrived at the scene, we were directed to a construction site, where we saw a worker, a man about 30 years old, lying on the floor and suffering from multiple systemic injuries after being injured by a heavy object that fell on him.

"Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical aid, including immobilization and dressings, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit in moderate condition for continued medical treatment in the trauma room at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot."
