The industrial area: a 70-year-old man lost consciousness during work - evacuated after CPR

MDA drives - 'Rescue Team' were called to the factory on Hauman Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of an unconscious man.

"Rescue Team" volunteers Kobi Mendelson, Joshua Gottlieb and Elikim Shisha add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a 70-year-old man lying on the floor with no pulse and no breathing after collapsing during work.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations and by the grace of heaven, the pulse and breathing returned.

The intensive care unit of the MDA refers him when he is sedated and ventilated in a critical condition, for further treatment in a shock room at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem."
