MDA drivers - 'Rescue Team' were called to Rashi Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of a serious car accident.

Rescue team volunteers Nati Ben Shimon, Elad Pinz, Yossi Horvitz and Shuki Mena add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a pedestrian, an 8-year-old girl trapped under a car and suffering from severe injuries to her lower limbs after being hit and trapped under a private vehicle.

"With the assistance of additional MDA medics and paramedics and a rescue team, we provided her with initial medical assistance, including immobilization and dressings, and stopping bleeding. She was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit in serious condition with blurred consciousness for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
