Together with the election system that will return after the additional postponement, the campaigns that blur the reality in the city will also return, including the failure of cell phone reception, which is without a doubt one of the distressing issues of the term.

When the antenna was erected at the entrance to the Rama D neighborhood, it became the scene of a credit war in preparation for the elections, but responsibility and answers to the residents for the omission bordering on life-threatening were not given, and it is far from over.

The antenna, which is placed above the Ramat Beit Shemesh C2 neighborhood and provides almost single coverage for the entire area, has been running for years on a generator with incessant failures, sometimes due to diesel theft and sometimes the weather disabling the antenna and reception in the entire area.

In the last week the neighborhood was again without reception, the PHI company that operates the antenna told the residents - that the generator will break down due to the weather and only when the municipality prepares a way to get to the site will they come to take care of the antenna.
