Deputy Tafsar Avi Harosh, 53 years old, married, father of six, born in the city of Ofakim, was appointed commander of the Beit Shemesh regional station.


Harush began his service in 1997, as a firefighter in the Union of Cities of Israel, in 2011 he completed a fire officer course and began serving in a variety of officer positions including, deputy shift commander and on-duty police officer at the Beer Sheva station, shift commander at the Nativot station, and commander of the fire station At Ofakim, in his last positions he served as deputy commander of the Beer Sheva regional station and commander of the Nativot fire station.


Harush was chosen to command the Beit Shemesh station and will replace the deputy tafsar Reuven Yitzhak who retired after 35 years of service and served in the position for about 10 years.
