At the end of last week, the "Beit David Foundation" filed a lawsuit against the municipality of Beit Shemesh and the municipality's legal advisor to the Jerusalem District Court.

The lawsuit revolves around a property in the city, a 5,000 square meter building that was used as a school and 14 dunams of land, on which there is a dispute as to who owns the rights between the municipality and the workers' company that put the property up for sale in a tender that the plaintiff won in 2005, but only in 2015 did the municipality announce that it does not exercise the right of refusal to purchase The assets of the company within its scope, a year later Rami approved the transfer of the property to the plaintiff.

The "Beit David Foundation" company claims that its damages due to the delay and the dispute surrounding the property are approximately NIS 82 million, now the Beit Shemesh municipality is demanding only NIS 10 million due to fee considerations.
