A resident of the city of Beit Shemesh last night submitted to the Jerusalem District Court a huge lawsuit which he wishes to file as a representative amounting to approximately 14 and a half million NIS against the municipal water corporation 'Mi Shemesh'.

According to the resident who lives in the neighborhood of Ramat Beit Shemesh IV, the water corporation did not update the number of people in his apartment as they are required to do, thus causing him financial damage equal to the difference between the amounts he actually paid at an expensive rate due to the amount of water allocated per person - and the amount he would have paid if the corporation had updated the data as required.

The plaintiff requests to add to the lawsuit the residents of the city according to the definition - "anyone who paid the defendant, starting seven years prior to the date of submission of the request" if also in other cases in the corporation we did not update the number of persons, in the plaintiff's tiny estimate this is about 5% of the city's residents, the amount of the lawsuit amounts to -14 and a half million NIS.
