An unusual Shabbat passed through the city of Beit Shemesh following two alarms that were activated in the city.

• On Saturday night at 2:11, alarms were activated in the city of Beit Shemesh and the surrounding area following the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen for the first time towards Jerusalem. The IDF said the missile was intercepted outside Israeli territory.

• At 4:15 PM, alarms were activated in the city of Beit Shemesh following the firing of two rockets by Hamas from the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF said that the launches were successfully intercepted.

MDA reported that no calls were received about casualties from the shooting.
