A red alert was activated this morning at 6:22 AM in the city of Beit Shemesh, surrounding communities, and several cities in central Israel.

The IDF said that a ballistic missile launched from Yemen by the Houthis was intercepted before it crossed into Israeli territory.

MDA teams reported that following the alarms, four people were slightly injured and bruised on their way to a protected area in the Rishon LeZion, Rehovot, Be'er Yaakov and Lod sectors. In addition, there are a number of panic victims.

In the city of Beit Shemesh, routine is being maintained, and classes will continue without change.
