MDA drivers - 'Rescue Team' were called to Rav Hanan Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of a fall from a height.

Rescue Team Paramedic Nati Ben Shimon and emergency medical technicians Elimelech Tsinwirt and Shalom Gadsi add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw an 11-year-old boy lying on the floor on the balcony of his house, suffering from a head injury after falling from the roof of a sukkah at a height of about 3.5 meters.

"Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical aid, including immobilization and dressings, and evacuated him to be connected to an MDA intensive care unit, which transferred him in moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
