Naomi Shemer Street: A 60-year-old woman was bitten by a viper - her condition is stable

MDA drives - 'Rescue Team' were called to Naomi Shemer Street in the city of Beit Shemesh following a report of a woman bitten by a snake.

"Rescue Team" volunteers Haim Gerlitz and Yosef Haim Hauzi add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a 60-year-old lady who had been bitten by a viper in the yard of her house.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we gave her initial medical assistance, and she was taken to the MDA intensive care unit for further treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
