It has been almost two weeks of unrest in the Ramat Beit Shemesh H - Neve Shamir neighborhood. Extreme ultra-Orthodox residents living in a building on Klein Street hung a huge sign on the balcony of their home calling against the conscription of Haredim into the army, resulting in an ongoing neighborly conflict.

Police forces have been called to this location at least three times and the commotion does not appear to be on its way to resolution.

One of the residents told Beit Shemesh News this evening: "It is not possible that in a time of war, a resident who lives in the building would come and provoke the other residents, many of whom are enlisting and contributing to the state, and even more so with such defiance."
