Dangerous drug trafficking in Beit Shemesh: Arrested in the city after a foot chase while in possession of a substance suspected of being a dangerous drug

Detectives from the Shefat Station in the Jerusalem District arrested a 20-year-old resident of central Israel, suspected of trafficking dangerous drugs in the Jerusalem area.

During the detectives' activity, they noticed a suspect driving on the streets of Beit Shemesh. At some point, the suspect noticed the detectives, got out of the vehicle and tried to escape from the officers, but was unsuccessful. After a short foot chase, the suspect was arrested by the officers.

In a search of his vehicle and belongings, over 1 kg of a substance suspected of being a cannabis drug and electronic cigarettes suspected of containing a substance suspected of being a drug not for personal consumption were seized.

The suspect was brought in for questioning at the Sheft police station and today his detention was extended to complete investigative activities.
