MDA drivers - 'Rescue Team' were called to a synagogue on Ben Azzai Street in the Yaffe Nof neighborhood in the city of Beit Shemesh following a report of a man who had collapsed.

Rescue Team Paramedic Nati Ben Shimon and emergency medical technicians Yosef Haim Ha'Uzi and Meir Nachmias add : "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man about 75 years old lying on the floor inside a synagogue with no pulse and no breathing after, according to worshippers, he suddenly collapsed.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we immediately began performing advanced resuscitation operations on him, including heart massage, breathing, and administering life-saving medications. By the grace of God, after he regained full consciousness, an MDA intensive care unit referred him for further treatment in the shock room at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem."
