First announcement: Mayor Shmulik Greenberg is expected to take off early this week for an official visit to London, the capital of England, on behalf of the Zionist Organization. The trip is expected to be joined by a number of (new) mayors in Israel, and is expected to last several days.

During the visit, the mayor is expected to meet with the Mayor of London and heads of Jewish organizations in order to create connections and collaborations.

The trip was approved by Council Secretary Nissim Cohen in a telephone poll with all City Council members; voting data was not published.

This is expected to be Greenberg's third trip abroad since he was elected mayor. The last time he traveled with a delegation of council members and municipal employees to Germany.
