State visit to several institutions: the President of the State will open the new academic year in Beit Shemesh

In a week, Sunday the 28th of Menachem-Av, 1/09/24, the 5th school year will open throughout the country.

State President Yitzhak (Boji) Herzog will arrive in the city on Wednesday and open the new academic year with a state visit to Beit Shemesh, which will be hosted and accompanied by Mayor Shmolik Greenberg , the CEO of the municipality Ohad Segev and senior officials of the municipality.

The Beit Shemesh news network has learned that the president is expected to visit three institutions: Sephardic, Lithuanian and Hasidic in the city, where he will meet the children and the education staff, and will also meet the director general of the independent education Rabbi Eliezer Sorotkin.

Due to the strict security arrangements, the full schedule of the visit will not be published before his visit to the city.
