Bicycle accident: a 12-year-old boy bicyclist collided with a second rider - evacuated in moderate condition

MDA drives - 'Rescue Team' were called to Yeshiahu Ha Havani Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of a car accident.

'Rescue team' paramedic Nati Ben Shimon and emergency medicine medics Yitzhak Klein and Shimon Ben Naim add: "When we arrived at the scene we saw a cyclist, a 12-year-old boy lying on the pavement suffering from a head injury after being injured in a car accident with another cyclist.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical assistance including immobilization and dressings, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care vehicle in moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem."
