In the morning around 08:30 a report was received about the detection of smoke from an apartment on Habakkuk Hanavi Street in the Ramat Beit Shemesh III neighborhood.


3 fire and rescue teams from the Beit Shemesh regional station went to the scene when they arrived and detected a certain fire in a private villa.


The firefighters acted immediately to extinguish the fire and prevent the spread of the fire, while at the same time they carry out scans to rule out the presence of trapped people in the apartment.


During the scans, the teams identified a dog, the family's pet, which was in the apartment, the firefighters rescued it and handed it over to the family members for further medical treatment.
