Five family members, including a mother and four small children, were evacuated after a fire broke out in their home last night in a neighborhood in the old city of Beit Shemesh.


The ambulance team of the Rescue Union with the volunteers Yehiel Rosenberg, Moishi Schwartz, Meir Kalmarsky and Eliyahu Aminov who handled the event:

When we arrived at the scene, we found the family members trapped on the balcony suffering from smoke inhalation, after apparently an electrical device caught fire and caused a lot of smoke from which they were injured. Together with other medics of the Beit Shemesh Rescue Union, we gave them initial aid, after which they were taken to the hospital for further treatment, as their condition was determined to be mild.
