MDA drives - 'Rescue Team' were called to Levi Eshkol Street in Beit Shemesh following a report of a car accident.

"Rescue Team" volunteers Dodi Ernster and Shimon Brandvin add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a pedestrian, a 22-year-old man suffering from head and limb injuries after being hit by a private vehicle.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics and a rescue team, we provided him with initial medical aid that included stopping bleeding, immobilization and bandages, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care vehicle in serious condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
