MDA volunteers - 'Rescue Team' were called this morning to a house in the Ramat Beit Shemesh 4 neighborhood, following a report of a toddler who had been burned by boiling water.

The Shabbat watchmen of the 'Rescue Team' Nati Ben Shimon and Nachman Philip add: "When we arrived at the scene, they handed us a toddler about one and a half years old, fully conscious, with exposed second degree burns on her upper body, after, according to her family members, she was burned by boiling water that was poured on her.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we gave her initial medical aid, and she was evacuated by an MDA intensive care vehicle in a moderate condition, for further treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
