MDA drivers - 'Rescue Team' were called to Sderit HaAmoraim Street in the Ramat Beit Shemesh D neighborhood following a report of a car accident.

Rescue Team volunteers Shimon Ben Naim and David Bagged add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a pedestrian, a boy about 6 years old, lying on the road and suffering from injuries to his head and limbs after being hit by a private vehicle.

"Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical assistance, including stopping bleeding, immobilization, and dressings. He was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit in moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
