Ramat Beit Shemesh C: A nine-month-old baby girl drowned in a bathtub - she was evacuated in stable condition

The rescue forces were called this evening to a house in the Ramat Beit Shemesh 3 neighborhood following a nine-month-old baby who was unconscious after drowning in a bathtub.

"Rescue Team" volunteers Nati Ben Shimon David Spiegel and Panchas Toisig add: When we arrived at the scene, we saw a nine-month-old baby unconscious after, according to her family, she drowned in the bathtub.

Together with other MDA medics and paramedics and a rescue team, we gave her initial medical aid including respiratory assistance and after, by the grace of heaven, her condition stabilized, she was evacuated by an MDA intensive care vehicle in a stable condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
