Near the city: A 23-year-old ATV rider overturned while riding - his condition is serious

MDA drivers - 'Rescue Team' were called to Givat Shemesh near Tzarah following a report of an ATV rider who overturned.

Rescue Team Paramedic Nati Ben Shimon and emergency medical technicians Gad Halevi and Shimi Halperin add: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw an ATV rider, a 23-year-old man, unconscious with a severe head injury after he overturned while riding."

"Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical aid, including stopping bleeding, respiratory assistance, immobilization and dressings, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit while sedated and ventilated in serious condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem."
