During an activity by the National Traffic Police officers in the Jerusalem sector on Route 1 near the Harel interchange against offenses that cause traffic accidents, a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed of 198 km/h was picked up by a speed measuring device.


The driver, a 22-year-old resident of Beit Shemesh, was questioned and sent to house arrest, and the police prosecution intends to file charges against him. The driver's license is invalidated for 30 days.
