The new "Tzur Hadassah" local council, which separated a few months ago from the "Mate Yehuda" regional council, demands to receive - 19.4 percent of Mate Yehuda's pre-dissolution income from non-residential property taxes.

As I recall, the settlement of 'Tzur Hadassah' near the city of Beit Shemesh grew to almost 20% of the population of Mate Yehuda and was declared an independent settlement, but now they demand to receive similar percentages of the property tax distribution.

The Zur Hadassah Council points out that following the discussions that are already taking place between Mate Yehuda and the city of Beit Shemesh regarding the distribution of property tax revenues, they demand their share from Mate Yehuda after the division with Beit Shemesh.
