The District Court in Jerusalem sentenced a resident of Beit Shemesh to 4 years in prison after committing indecent acts on a child whom he taught to read the Torah for the Bar Mitzvah. In addition to 8 months of probation and compensation of NIS 25,000 to the complainant.

The accused was convicted of multiple offenses of indecent acts on the complainant minor when he was 11 years old and continued between the years 2009 - 2012, when he was studying in the warehouse in the yard of his house to read the Torah with the accused.

The accused is acquitted of the charges in relation to three other minors, because they did not want to testify in court.
