Rescue forces were called out on Saturday to Aliya Street in the city of Beit Shemesh following a 60-year-old woman who tripped and fell down the stairs of a residential building. It apparently took a long time for her to be found and help called, and rescue forces were called to declare her dead at the scene.

Rescue Team volunteers Nati Ben Shimon, Israel Cohen and Zviki Schlesinger add: "When we arrived at the scene, we were directed to a stairwell in a residential building, where we saw a woman about 60 years old lying unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with bruises on her body after, according to her family, she tripped on the stairs.

"Together with other MDA paramedics and medics, we immediately began performing advanced CPR on her, including heart massage and breathing, but after a long time, unfortunately, the MDA paramedics were forced to declare her dead at the scene."
