Security and emergency portfolio holder Motti Leitner , conducted a tour of the public shelters in the city together with a shelter renovation team. The purpose of the tour was to examine and get a close impression of the condition of the shelters and ensure their preparedness for an emergency. This tour is part of the formulation of a comprehensive plan to renovate and improve the shelters in the city, in order to allow residents a dignified and safe stay when necessary.

"In accordance with the policies and instructions of Mayor Shmuel Greenberg, we are working diligently to make sure that every shelter in the city will be in good condition and ready for use if necessary," Leitner said. "The municipality is committed to increasing the residents' sense of security and ensuring the proper functioning of the public shelters in times of emergency. We will continue to update the public on the progress of the project and the improvements being made in the shelters."
