The Central Bureau of Statistics publishes this week a collection of data in honor of "Jerusalem Day" which falls today, among the variety of data on the capital, the immigration data - exit and entry of residents from the city in 2023 - is also published.

The data shows that the city of Beit Shemesh is the favorite destination by far for Jerusalemites, 17.6% of the total number of people leaving Jerusalem in the last year, about 4,200 residents - moved to Beit Shemesh. After that is the city of Tel Aviv, but with about 1,500 immigrants.

The data also shows that Beit Shemesh is in the second place of immigrants to Jerusalem with about 900 residents who moved to Jerusalem in the last year, 7.3% of the total number of people entering Jerusalem.
