Against the backdrop of the security situation, a joint meeting was held this morning (Thursday) between the commander of the Jerusalem District and the Center in the Home Front Command, Col. Amir Ben David , together with Mayor Shmuel Greenberg .

The meeting focused on the city's preparedness for emergencies and strengthening local emergency systems.

The meeting was also attended by the Municipality's Director General, Mr. Ohad Segev, Deputy Mayor Rivka Ravitz, Deputy Mayor Moti Leitner, Security and Emergency Portfolio Holder, the District Commander, Col. (Res.) Yigal Cohen, and the Commander of the IDF's Liaison Unit (the Authority's Liaison Unit), Lt. Col. (Res.) Yoav Krikmeyer.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening the city's preparedness, continuing to improve local emergency systems, and coordination between the Authority and the Home Front Command, with the aim of providing a rapid and effective response in emergency situations.

The district commander praised the close cooperation with the municipality and emphasized the importance of joint preparation for emergency situations.
