Tonight, a report was received to the police from the Ituran headquarters, that a truck was stolen from the city of Ashdod and that it was making its way on the road near Beit Shemesh. As a result, the policemen of the Beit Shemesh station of the Jerusalem district were organized in their area to locate the suspect vehicle.

At a certain point, the police detectives who were stationed at the Tel Azka intersection noticed the truck suspected of being stolen, and at the same time a suspicion arose that it was actually two trucks traveling in their direction and suspected of being stolen.

The detectives carried out actions to stop the trucks, and then arrested the suspects who were driving them. The two, residents of the south in their 30s, were arrested as mentioned and taken to the Beit Shemesh police station for questioning on suspicion of vehicle theft, conspiracy to commit a crime and more.

At the end of their interrogation by the police tonight, the suspects were imprisoned and during the day, they will be brought before the High Court in order to extend their detention in order to complete the necessary investigative actions.
