The mayor's spokesman, Rafi Perlstein, told Beit Shemesh News:

"The horn experiment was carried out in the neighborhoods of Haftziva and Level C. The announcement was made to all the residents of the city so that in a situation where residents from other neighborhoods hear, God forbid, they will not panic unnecessarily. This is a series of experiments conducted by a security guard in the area and another round is expected in the future. That's exactly what the experiment is for, to check and find faults."
