On Saturday evening, the ultra-Orthodox council members were summoned to an important meeting at the home of Rabbi Natan Kupshitz, a rabbi who was supposed to deal with the enforcement of construction offenses - especially for the ultra-Orthodox, following our publication of the planning and construction subcommittee meeting this week.

A number of other rabbis from the Hassidic community attended the meeting, but only one council member attended the meeting: Malachi Kituv from the Etz party.

It turns out that the ultra-Orthodox council members apparently did not attach any significance to the meeting and chose to be absent from it.
