We have tested for you what this means:

After much effort, the city of Beit Shemesh has been approved as Development Area A for the next two years.

Development Area A provides benefits to existing factory owners who are expanding or new ones coming to the city.

Part of the benefits is a grant of 20 percent of the investment of a new plant or an existing plant that expands and a tax reduction for exporting companies instead of 16 percent which will be a tax payment of only 7.5 percent.

In a conversation with City Council member Rabbi Israel Mendelssohn, Employment, Commerce and Industry, we understand how much the news should affect the city's expansion in industry and commerce and promote bringing large companies to the city. Revenues to the municipal coffers that will return in better service to the resident.
